Served as Technical Reviwer for the O’reilly book : DuckDB Up & Running

DuckDB is an open-source, in-process SQL OLAP (Structured Query Language - OnLine Analystics Platform) database management system designed for analytical workloads.

My role as a reviewer for an O'Reilly book on DuckDB demonstrates my strong expertise in data engineering and distributed systems in several ways. DuckDB is designed to bridge the gap between local data analytics and distributed environments, requiring a deep understanding of database internals, query optimization, and integration with larger data ecosystems. By critically analyzing and refining the book’s content, I showcased my ability to identify and address complex technical nuances, ensuring they are accessible to readers. Additionally, my contributions reflect a comprehensive knowledge of how DuckDB fits into the broader landscape of data engineering tools, emphasizing its role as a lightweight alternative to distributed systems like Spark for certain use cases. This highlights my skill in evaluating technologies not just for functionality but also for how they impact scalability, performance, and workflow efficiency in distributed environments.
